2 new hires, including award-winning sales exec, bolster Furniture Today, sister brands

HIGH POINT – Furniture Today and its sister brands Home Accents Today and Designers Today have strengthened their sales team with the two new hires, including an award-winning senior account executive, whose experience includes roles as a Life Coach and a Certified Behavior Assistant.

Kirsten Rasky, who joins the team from NJBIZ, a sister publication under the BridgeTower Media umbrella, has been named senior account executive and will service accounts for Furniture Today, Home Accents Today and Designers Today.

Rasky held a similar role at NJBIZ, where she has been a key contributor since 2015 and in 2023 was recognized as the top digital salesperson and a 2023 President’s Club member.

“Kirsten excels in client relationship management, partnership development, and new business acquisition,” said Donna Bischoff, managing director for BridgeTower Media’s Home Furnishings Division, which encompasses the three brands on which Rasky will work as well as Home Textiles Today, Gifts & Decorative Accessories and Pet Age magazines.

Rasky also is a member of the company’s Culture Council, leading initiatives to enhance organizational culture. Beyond her role at BridgeTower Media, Rasky is a certified behavior assistant and life coach, supporting individuals and families in developing positive coping strategies and achieving personal growth. Her diverse skill set includes marketing, communication, coaching, business intelligence, digital marketing and analytical skills.

The company has also named Jack McCracken senior sales executive in the Home Furnishings Division. He also will work with the Furniture Today, Home Accents Today and Designers Today teams in addition to bolstering the sales effort on the division’s Pet Age Brand.

McCracken is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in marketing management and brings a dynamic background in sales from his previous roles in the public sector including stints at Paymerang, in the financial technology sector, where he worked with manufacturers and physicians as well as at NASCAR.

“Jack is a high-energy, creative sales executive who has experience creating powerful brand partnerships and innovative marketing opportunities for high profile clients,” said Bischoff. “His experience will help our clients succeed in a highly dynamic market environment.”

Rooted in a lifelong appreciation for craftsmanship, shaped by time spent in his father’s carpentry shop, McCracken brings both passion and purpose to the home furnishings industry. He thrives on building meaningful relationships and enjoys connecting with people both professionally and personally.

Both new sales executives will be on hand and meeting clients at the upcoming High Point Market.
