ORLANDO, Fla. – In a move designed to keep bedding industry executives up to date and current on the latest regulatory changes impacting the business, Furniture Today has added an expanded segment to the 2025 Bedding Conference set here for next month.
Grant Johnson, the government affairs manager for the International Sleep Products Association, will provide conference attendees with an update on the shifting governmental landscape and the impact those changes could have on mattress manufacturers and retailers.
Johnson will unpack the evolving governmental landscape impacting the bedding industry – from tariffs and trade policies to sustainability mandates, chemical regulations and new packaging and labeling requirements. He will share details on pending legislation that could play a role in sourcing, pricing, product development and design in this can’t-miss conversation about ensuring compliance, maintaining a competitive edge and meeting the demand for sustainable and safe bedding products.
The conference is set for May 13-15 at the Signia Hotel by Hilton. Registration is currently open, and additional details can be found on the Conference website. The room block for the event closes Monday, April 21. After that date, rates will increase, and room availability is not guaranteed.
