Building upon last Market’s success, Copeland expands new dining and upholstery

Copeland will expand its Butterfly dining collection launched last Market. Company exec Ben Copeland called Butterfly the company’s best received dining collection since 2009.

HIGH POINT – Vermont-based high-end furniture manufacturer Copeland will expand the dining collection it introduced at the last High Point Market with a new chair and new round tabletops.

“Following a successful spring debut, the Butterfly dining series continues to generate significant interest among industry professionals and consumers,” the company said in a release.

New top sizes addition feature the series’ signature curved wood base and precise joinery, suitable for both casual and formal settings, Copeland says. The round table will be available with two sintered stone top color options, providing a durable and “sophisticated” alternative to wood and glass tops. Sintered stone tops will also be available on the company’s better-selling Entwine, Lisse and Exeter collections.

Butterfly dining items are all crafted from solid American black walnut in Copeland’s Vermont factory. The collection also includes extension tables, glass top tables and fixed top tables.

Copeland will also introduce the new Lisse upholstered chair for market, an evolution of the chair’s original design. Crafted from walnut or solid oak hardwood, the upholstered chair is made to order in a range of finishes with a Greenguard certified top coat. Customers can choose from a range of upholstery options, including microsuede, fabric, Ultrasuede, Ultraleather, Sunbrella and leather, as well as COM (customer’s own material).

Copeland’s High Point showroom is at Showplace, 5100.
