BRADENTON, Fla. — Bealls Inc., which owns and operates Bealls, Bealls Florida and Home Centric, named Roselle Thomas is its senior vice president chief merchandising officer for Bealls Florida.
In her new position, Thomas has responsibility for the merchandising strategy for 66 Bealls Florida stores and BeallsFlorida.com where she is developing and guiding initiatives to further strengthen the retailer as a destination for both Florida families and visiting guests. Her efforts will focus on delivering unique products and well-known brands at great everyday value.

While Home Centric is Bealls Inc.’s primary furniture and home furnishings brand, both Bealls and Bealls Florida carry several home furnishings and home décor categories.
Thomas joined Bealls Inc. in 2010 as a merchandise assistant and progressed through the organization, holding several key leadership positions including those with divisional oversight of apparel categories, product development and strategy, wholesale businesses, environmental social governance and corporate services. Most recently, she was vice president general merchandise manager for ladies apparel, accessories and beauty for Bealls Florida.
Thomas graduated from The International Academy of Design and Technology and is a member of the Class of 2018 E.R. Beall Leadership Development Program.
