JERSEY CITY, N.J. — NFM, part of Top 100 Berkshire Hathaway’s furniture division, led 10 home retailer on Forbes’ Best Customer Service list.
NFM ranked No. 17 overall and was top in the home and furnishings category. Mattress Firm, which was No. 40 overall, was the second-ranked retailer in the category. American Furniture Warehouse (50), Rooms To Go (76) and R.C. Willey (78) rounded out the top five home and furnishings retailers.
The rest of the top 10 included Raymour & Flanigan (97), La-Z-Boy (114), Williams-Sonoma (165) The Container Store (241) and Bob’s Discount Furniture (242).
The UPS Store was top rated among the 300 listed retailers, followed by USAA, Chick-fil-A, REI and Trader Joe’s.
Created with research partner HundredX, Forbes said the second-annual list relied on a 12-month survey of 181,000 people in the United States who provided 4.4 million ratings of the customer service they received from their interactions with more than 3,500 brands.
