Theodore Alexander is introducing the Spadari sectional at Las Vegas Market.
LAS VEGAS — The Theodore Alexander showroom at Las Vegas Market will highlight key style and trend stories developed with a west coast buyer in mind.
According to company officials, strategies for a successful 2025 include a new showroom in High Point, expanded inventory and, for the first company’s first market of the year, a focus on lifestyle preferences for furniture buyers in the western region.
“To better serve our customers, we’ve maintained a steady introduction of new products, increased our North Carolina inventory, fully integrated our warehousing and U.S. corporate team into our new Trinity, N.C., headquarters, and purchased a more conveniently located High Point showroom that is currently undergoing renovations and will open for April High Point Market,” Ed Teplitz told Furniture Today. “We are monitoring potential tariff changes for Vietnam and are focused on the steps we can control to drive our success.”
Specifically for Las Vegas Market, upholstery product introductions include Asciano, Delray, Leoh, Spadari and Zeno, contemporary sihouettes. (See: Theodore Alexander showcases January intros)
In case goods, Spencer St. James and Urbane are new, as well as new pieces for the Judith Leiber Couture collection. Additionally in case goods, Maxwell, Luna, Horizon and Montauk, first shown at April High Point Market, will be in the showroom and are now in stock and available for quick shipping.
“When designing and refreshing our Las Vegas showroom, we lean into the aesthetics that perform well in the Western region of the United States ,” said Robin Hoff, senior vice president upholstery merchandising. “Two style trends rise to the top: high-style contemporary pieces and organic designs marked by modern, clean lines and natural wood finishes. You will see these two styles continue through our upholstery offering.
“The sophisticated and stylistic lines of the Spadari sectional, as well as the small scale and minimalist curves of the Zeno swivel, will be two of our featured new upholstery collections in Las Vegas,” she added.
Company representatives note that the “high-style contemporary” case pieces of Spencer St. James offer a capsule collection that features a crocodile embossed leather finish, as well as a low-profile bar with an “unexpected punch of turquoise” on the interior. The Judith Leiber Couture furniture collection showcases “indulgent sophistication that pays homage to the iconic aesthetic of the revered fashion designer,” officials said. Each piece features mother-of-pearl encrusted inlays, brass accents and hand-painted details.
For the organic modern aesthetic, the Urbane collection showcases a wire brush pine finish in two palettes: Campfire and Sundew. The pulls are cast in the Theodore Alexander foundry and complement the wood.
Retail pricing on the Las Vegas offering is mid to high-end in an effort to reach a varying group of designers and clientele, officials said. Attainable, mid-tier pricing includes the Montauk and Urbane collection. High-end pricing features product in Spencer London and Judith Leiber Couture.
Company representatives said that Theodore Alexander is showcasing collections that are in-stock and ready for fast shipping, as well as the newest introductions that will arrive in May 2025. Currently in stock product includes Judith Leiber Couture, Spencer London, Maxwell, Luna, Horizon and Montauk. Estimated ship time for St James and Urbane is May 2025. Upholstery has a six- to eight-week lead time in the U.S.
