MINNEAPOLIS — Allegro Home Delivery, a national provider of last-mile delivery services, has expanded into the East Coast with new locations in Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C., part of a strategy to enhance delivery capabilities for large items targeting the direct-to-consumer, home builder and multifamily markets.
The expanded facilities will primarily serve Electrolux, with additional warehouse space available for other manufacturers and retailers of bulky items.
“What makes this exciting is that we’re going to have a local presence, complete with routing and admin teams on the ground,” said Jon Carr, Allegro vice president of sales. “We’re positioned to deliver a more personalized experience to our customers.”
The company says that Chris Bowman, director of final mile operations, and Kylie Davis, director of field services, were instrumental in executing the expansion, overseeing the operational launch and ensuring seamless setup in both cities.
The East Coast facilities will also offer both basic and complex installation services, supporting Allegro’s broader nationwide logistics network. “This expansion complements our nationwide network and allows us to offer both asset-based and non-asset-based logistics solutions in these markets,” Carr added.
