Amish furniture manufacturer ceases operations in Indiana

MILLERSBURG, Ind. – A small Amish furniture manufacturer says it will shut down all operations this fall.

“We are trying to sell the plans and or tools by the end of August or as soon as we can, so that orders can still be placed and we will make sure your products get to you,” said Myron Slabach, owner of Armani Woodshop, in an email to dealers. “Thank you for your past business and sorry for the inconvenience, but we have hit too many ‘bumps’ and will have to shut it all down.”

According to its listing on Amish furniture collective website Viztech, Armani specialized in heirloom solid wood furniture. This listing has now been removed.

Furniture Today reached out to Slabach for more information. This story will be updated as more information is available.
