Better health, wellness at center of Ergomotion strategy for adjustable bed bases

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Ergomotion is pushing back against what it calls the “commoditization” of the adjustable bed segment by focusing on designs that elevate the category as a health benefit for consumers.

“We believe commodity bases are a disservice to our customers by reducing their ticket and the value they can offer to their consumers,” said Kyle Muench, vice president of sales operations for Ergomotion. “This category has the power to enrich and change lives, as proven by our specialty sleep products that can range from multi-functional, transformational bases designed to add utility in the home, to bases designed to meet adaptive and accessible needs for a growing population that deserves features which enhance their life while providing dignity in the comfort of their living space.”

The company’s new products for the summer Las Vegas Market include the Ascend base with high-low functionality and tilt, the two features Ergomotion says are in high demand by consumers. Ascend is similar to the company’s Dawn House smart bed designed for consumers looking to age in place. Dawn House was introduced in 2021.

In addition to the new base, priced at a more attainable price point, Ergomotion will offer a new sleep solutions collection that retailers can customize to meet their merchandising needs. The company’s product lineup is also available for private label branding to give retailers a competitive edge in their marketplace.

Gui Peres, chief operating officer of Ergomotion, is optimistic about the category’s future growth potential and the company’s commitment to quality and safety standards, customer satisfaction and consumer education.

“We’re also committed to helping our partners achieve sustainable growth and differentiate themselves in the market,” Peres said. “Our goal is to elevate the perception of adjustable bases by showcasing bases that stand out in the sea of sameness and offer real features that enhance sleep and overall quality of life.”

Ergomotion’s range of products will be showcased in its Las Vegas showroom at B-1362.
