VERONA, Miss. — Capital Bedding, an independently owned mattress manufacturer based in Verona, Miss., has hired industry veteran Scott Miller for the newly created post of vice president.
With more than 45 years in the mattress industry, Miller started on the retail side in 1978. Over the years, he has worked with companies including Simmons, International Bedding Corp., Natura, Southerland, Dreams LLC, Glideaway and, most recently, Corsicana Mattress.
“Scott joined us in March and has brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to all facets of our business”, said Doug West, CEO and president, adding, “He recently developed a new mattress brand for our company that we will launch soon.”
Founded in 1969, Capital Bedding has made residential mattresses for more than 50 years and mattresses for hospitals and medical facilities for more than 25 years.
