City Furniture launches visualization tools powered by 3D Cloud

TAMARAC, Fla. – City Furniture has introduced a suite of interactive 3D shopping tools on its website, developed in partnership with 3D Cloud, which feature 360-degree product views, WebAR for augmented reality placement and a 3D room planner.

“We partnered with 3D Cloud because they share our commitment to innovation, quality and exceptional customer experiences,” said Andrew Koenig, CEO of City Furniture. “Scaling 3D content is challenging, and having the right partner makes all the difference. 3D Cloud delivers.”

The tools are designed to help customers better visualize furniture before making a purchase. Shoppers can rotate products to view them from all angles, place items in their homes using WebAR, and design entire rooms in 3D.

According to City Furniture, the features have seen strong engagement: 89% of shoppers interact with 360 spins, WebAR is activated 14% of the time when available, and 57% of users save their projects in the room planner.

“City Furniture is a clear leader in writing the future of furniture retail,” said Beck Besecker, CEO and co-founder of 3D Cloud. “Their dedication to creating a better, more efficient and more beautiful way to shop aligns perfectly with our mission: one 3D model, every application.”

City Furniture is utilizing 3D Cloud’s digital asset management system, which allows a single 3D product model to be deployed across multiple shopping experiences. The company plans to expand its 3D offerings with additional product and sectional configurators.

“The idea of one 3D product powering multiple applications is instrumental in orchestrating our vision for a consistent hybrid customer experience,” Koenig said. “This is the most efficient, most compelling approach to 3D available in furniture retail today.”
