Compass Sleep Products promotes company insider to plant manager

GREENVILLE, Fla. – Independent mattress manufacturer Compass Sleep Products has named Savannah Vause plant manager to oversee daily management of the company’s factory here.

Reporting to Ricky Riley, Compass chief executive and general manager, Vause is responsible for operational management and physical aspects of the facility, staffing, incoming orders and production.

“In an industry where women are the primary purchasing decisionmakers, we believe having Savannah in a key leadership role will bring us greater insight into our product development and marketing efforts to more effectively reach this audience,” Riley said. “Since joining us she has shown her abilities as a skilled leader.  She has a profound commitment to each and every member of our team and nurturing those employee relationships reflects her dedication to their growth and well-being of our corporate family. We feel incredibly fortunate to have such a remarkable leader on our team.”

Prior to her promotion, Vause was Compass’ human resources and payroll manager, a position she has held since August 2022. Before joining the company, Vause worked in human resources for Twin Oaks Juvenile Development, and worked as an accountant and office secretary at a contracting company.

“Compass is a wonderful organization with a very committed team of professionals dedicated to making the highest quality products and giving our customers superior service and training. I am also proud of our commitment to helping the communities where we do business. I am grateful for the opportunity to play a greater role in the future growth and profitability of our company,” Vause said.
