Curious why Ikea had a showroom at the Las Vegas Market? We were, too!

LAS VEGAS – A familiar yellow-and-blue sign popped up in the temporary spaces on the second floor of World Market Center’s Building B at Las Vegas Market this week.

Swedish retailer Ikea had a small booth in the space where it was showcasing a new part of its Business Network program, introduced in April. This was the first time the company had shown at the Las Vegas Market.

In its space, Ikea showcased a number of its fan favorites – including Kallax cubbies, the customizable Elvarli wardrobe system, and the Lack wall shelf unit – to show companies how many of its pieces can be used to display products.

The loyalty program was designed to support businesses with a variety of benefits, including access to Ikea’s Family benefits that extends 5% savings on eligible in-store purchases, selected discounted delivery, seasonal promotions and more. The network also gives businesses discounts on its interior design services to help create workplaces and discounts in a variety of areas for company employees.

“The Ikea Business Network goes beyond product savings and gives access to inspiring design solutions, a range of employee benefits and useful trainings that we hope will serve as a resource for small businesses and enable them to be successful,” said Nicole King, Ikea U.S. customer engagement and loyalty manager.
