The Loving Lounging group is a new Decor-Rest upholstery offering.
HIGH POINT — Canadian upholstery manufacturer Decor-Rest is welcoming buyers to a new space for fall market, and the increased square footage aligns with the company’s strategy for increasing market share.
The new showroom, located at 212 Jacobs Place, is adjacent to Decor-Rest’s former main showroom in High Point. The old showroom space will now be repurposed for exclusive groups for select customers.
President Angelo Marzilli Jr. said that the new space allows Decor-Rest to showcase all of its collections in one location. He added that the investment in the new showroom underscores the company’s commitment to the industry and High Point Market.
“The new space will house our latest collections, emphasizing versatility and customization options, while the old space will remain a hub for specific best-selling pieces focused on a specific audience,” said Marzilli. “Together, these spaces create a comprehensive journey through the brand, where customers can experience a blend of innovation and tradition.”
In addition to the new showroom, Decor-Rest is also focused on telling a marketing, logistics and innovation story. The multifaceted approach is designed to reintroduce the company’s strengths to existing customers and to position the brand top of mind for potential new partnerships.
“Simplified marketing resonates because it helps customers quickly understand the value and possibilities of customization without overwhelming them,” Marzilli said. “In today’s fast-paced retail environment, clear messaging is critical. Retailers will appreciate how this approach streamlines their sales process and aligns with consumer demand for personal, yet straightforward, solutions.”
Innovation for Decor-Rest includes a focus on sustainable materials, craftsmanship and functionality. The company has also expanded its customization options to meet specific customer needs and developed logistics solutions that improve delivery times.
“We’ve adapted to the logistical challenges by improving lead times and expanding delivery options,” Marzilli said. “With strategic partnerships and enhanced inventory management, we’re ensuring faster turnaround times. Our standard delivery windows have been reduced, and we offer expedited options to meet tight timelines. Some to highlight are our same day collection and our fully customizable 28-day program.”
After the fall market wraps, Decor-Rest will continue to build on its 2025 strategy with a focus on further integrating technology into both the showroom experience and e-commerce. Marzilli said the plan will include expanded product lines as well as enhanced customization options.
“Customers are seeking flexibility, faster delivery and products that reflect current design trends while maintaining quality,” he said. “There’s a growing need for sustainable options, as well as pieces that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing. The outlook is optimistic, with consumers prioritizing home spaces more than ever before, but they’re also expecting more value and service in their purchases.”
