This week I’m teaming up with Kreg to bring you a fun little woodworking project. I’m going to show you how to build this easy DIY tool caddy!

You know I love a good beginner woodworking project, and this definitely fits that description. This DIY tool caddy comes in handy to haul smaller tools around the workshop or around the house, and you can modify the dimensions to suit your needs.
As usual, I used my Kreg Jig 520PRO for this project. It’s my favorite pocket hole jig because it’s super portable and lightweight, easy to use, and makes joining wood a breeze.
You can also customize the finish by staining or painting it any color you choose. I opted for a Provincial stain and then added a Spar Urethane topcoat for protection.
You can find the build plans and full step by step tutorial on the Kreg site here.
