King Koil’s Xtended Life beds get redesign for firmer support

AT LAS VEGAS MARKET – King Koil has redesigned its Xtended Life mattress collection with high-density foams and a new wrapped coil system for firmer support.

Backed by a 25-year warranty, the collection also features new panel and border covers imported from Belgium and a Tencel ticking. The new mattresses contain an added tri-zone graphite latex layer and a new wrapped coil system that for firm support. Suggested retails are $2,299 to $2,499 in queen.

“At a time when consumers are keeping a close eye on spending, Xtended Life offers a longer warranty than anything else we produce,” said David Long, executive vice president of innovation and marketing. “These highly durable mattresses are designed for people who want a product they can depend on, that will not fail and leave them with body impressions. The beds feature 1,075 independently encased coils designed to reduce motion disturbance and body pressure points for the ultimate in comfort and support. Plus, graphite latex layers provide a breathable heat-removing surface to disperse heat and keep sleepers cool throughout the night.”

The mattresses in the collection undergo rollator testing of 250,000 cycles using a 350-pound barrel compared to the industry standard of 100,000 cycles with a 230-pound barrel to simulate 25 years of use.

The new designs are in the company’s Las Vegas Market showroom, B-1200.
