LAS VEGAS – Kingsdown plans to turn heads at the Las Vegas Market with dynamic window displays inspired by the kind of legendary department store windows that shoppers viewed as special events in themselves.
At this week’s market, the Style & Substance window welcomes buyers to Space C-1401 with the visual power of bright summer flowers.
“Our goal this market – with ‘Summer of Love It’ and brightening up the window with punchy, summer-themed colors like orange, purple and pink – was to be different enough to stop people in their tracks,” said Mike James, chairman of Kingsdown, adding, “We want to encourage retailers to think about doing something out of the ordinary, and perhaps seasonally focused like other consumer products industries do, to capture the attention of consumers.”
The Style & Substance window features three queen-sized mattresses from the Vintage Couture collection covered in solid orange, purple and pink, framed by a garden of flowers running across the bottom of the outside glass and a series of bouquets highlighting the wall above the beds.
