HIGH POINT — Kuka Home is launching its interpretation of immersive sound at this week’s High Point Market, complete with a home theater setting designed to illustrate the visual selling potential at retail.
Company officials said that SoundSphere Immersive Sound “redefines the future of home entertainment” and integrates an immersive 4D experience into motion and stationary upholstery.
Spanning categories including home theater seating, sofa groups, sectionals, recliners and stationary stratus seating, SoundSphere Immersive Sound delivers “seamless entertainment” across a range of styles, according to officials.
Users can choose from a preset audio mode or can customize their audio experience, sound and vibrations.
Officials said the name SoundSphere captures the feeling of being surrounded by rich, dynamic sound and reflects Kuka Home’s commitment to blending technology and comfort seamlessly into modern home environments.
At High Point Market, Kuka Home is showcasing SoundSphere with an attention-grabbing display focused on clear messaging, designed to make it easy to experience and understand the technology firsthand and to also communicate its benefits.
Acknowledging the availability of immersive sound systems, officials said that key differentiators between Kuka Home’s system and others includes: stationary furniture
technology that appeals to broader and trend-focused lifestyle segments; four consumer-ready sound profiles with one-touch activation for a “tailored experience without needing any tech expertise;” adjustable, balanced audio that can be shifted from left to right to fit the consumer’s preferences; and “relatable” branding.
“With speaker sales continuing to rise and a rapidly expanding gaming population, the demand for entertainment-driven living spaces has never been stronger,” Harrison said. “SoundSphere was created to meet these trends head-on.”
