HIGH POINT — Kuka Home, producer of upholstered furniture, is added Mary Ballard as its director of merchandising for the North American division. It is a new position for the company.
With more than 20 years of experience in the furniture industry, Ballard reports to Sergio Barrios, senior vice president of product development and design. She will manage strategic product direction, design forecasts and merchandising management for the company’s product lines, as well as overseeing the showrooms.
Previously, Ballard was at Gabriella White, where she was senior category manager for upholstery and soft goods. Prior to that, she worked with companies including Bellwether Partners, Baker, Maitland-Smith, Henredon and Bassett.
