Leather craftsmanship on tap at Whittemore-Sherrill

HIGH POINT — Whittemore-Sherrill, a member of Sherrill Furniture brands, is highlighting its leather craftmanship with its October High Point Market introductions.

New products feature hand-painted leather designs inspired by diverse themes, including a ski lodge, Italian road racing, bull silhouettes and a moose head motif with a painted horn and etched elk.

Among the introductions is the 1650 chair, with the S&S Ranch; the 1221-01 chair, with Tommy Targa, Elk Heaven and Alpine Skier; and the 108-01 chair, with the moose head motif.

Other introductions include the channeled leather 1216-01 wing chair, the 1815-03 sofa with the 1815-01 chair, and the 126-01 chair.

“Our latest collection represents the best leather craftsmanship you’ll find at High Point Market, and we proudly stand behind that,” said Johnny Suddreth, vice president of sales. “We test each piece numerous times to make sure we get the pitch and sit perfect, then we select the best materials to create pieces that are both rugged and refined.”

In addition to the new designs, Whittemore-Sherrill continues to honor its legacy of sourcing the finest leather hides from around the world, as in the new 1849-01 chair with hand-cut leather horseshoe details and spaced decorative nails.

“Our collection is a reflection of who we are as a brand, dedicated to providing unparalleled, custom-made leather upholstery that fits our customers perfectly,” said Charles Sherrill, CEO.

Whittemore-Sherrill exhibits at 315 Fred Alexander Place in High Point.
