Manwah is bringing HiFi, and more, to the living room this October

HIGH POINT — When High Point Market opens later this month, buyers in the Manwah showroom will get a first look at the manufacturer’s latest introductions — motion and stationary upholstery, now complemented by immersive sound technology.

“We’re bringing WiFi to the living room, and this time, we’re selling the hot dog instead of just the ingredients,” said Gabriele Natale, president. “It’s this integration of comfort, quality, value and innovative features that allows us to set Manwah apart from competitors.”

The initial launch of the immersive sound collection will include five groups, shipped 90 days from the receipt of order. The Smart Technology features include adjustable settings, heating, cooling and built-in speakers, supported with tailored marketing strategies that showcase how the new groups align with consumer preferences and trends. Company officials note that the new groups were part of a strategy to “create a compelling offer for an evolving consumer market.”

“We’re working to ensure long-term success in a dynamic market,” Natale said. “We’re offering a product as well as a holistic, enhanced lifestyle experience.”

Manwah uses customer feedback to direct product development, a process that resulted in the three-pronged comfort-quality-value strategy that underscores the company’s marketing messages: Under the comfort directive, the company focuses on ergonomic design and materials that enhance user experience; the quality directive incorporates manufacturing standards, while the value directive synergizes competitive pricing to support access to premium products.

The immersive sound technology is the latest addition to the product mix, designed to give consumers an added incentive on the purchase journey. “HiFi integration makes for a totally fresh approach to the living room,” Natale said.

In addition to the immersive sound groups, Manwah is also introducing a total of 60 new groups and new solution-dyed polyester fabrics for October. A new euro-sleeper program rounds out the introductions, all focused on evolving consumer needs.

“Our modular designs allow consumers to customize furniture configurations to suit their space and needs,” Natale said. “We also have multifunctional upholstery that can serve multiple purposes — sofa beds and storage solutions — and motion with features like zero gravity that cater to a growing awareness of health and wellness among consumers. As lifestyles change — whether remote work or smaller living spaces — Manwah’s offerings can adapt to these shifts.”
