ANDERSON, S.C. – Simply Southern Cottage has partnered with Orian Rugs to create a third collection of rugs that will be available online. The rugs will also be part of a fall home tour called The Colorful Cottages of Minden on Sept. 21.
This new line includes the Southern Grace collection, which boasts an elevated design for more formal spaces with gold, rust, navy and greens. According to designer Sara McDaniel, the new flatweave, washable Southern Life collection is good for everyday living.
“Creating a timeless, new collection was the shared goal I had with Orian. The collection includes 15 designs offering versatile choices while reflecting a southern charm that I like to weave through all of my designs,” she said.
McDaniel’s previous rugs were featured nationally on the Magnolia Network show, In With The Old, which chronicled McDaniel’s renovation of a beautiful, 1905 Queen Anne, Victorian-style home.
Some of the new rugs from the Southern Home collection will be seen in an upcoming HGTV show to be announced soon. “Chip and Joanna Gaines have had such an impact on my design and renovation career, and I am thrilled to have my rugs featured nationally on their network,” McDaniel said.
