NEW YORK — Consumers’ interest in enhancing at-home experiences is behind the design focus for direct-to-consumer brand Castlery’s spring home furnishings collection.

“In recent years, consumers’ expectations of their homes have greatly evolved,” said Declan Ee, co-founder. “One trend that has stuck is the desire for at-home experiences, which has shaped our spring collection with pieces that combine practical design with the flexibility to fit busy lives.”

Among the introductions in the collection, which features materials such as leather, Italian marble and performance fabrics, is the Jaron recliner sofa, a customizable piece that can accommodate multiple loungers with independently controlled head and leg rests. The power sofa needs just 6 inches of backward clearance to achieve a full reclining position.

“It took more than 20 months of innovation to craft something that had the functionality of a power recliner but still looked sleek and felt true to our design aesthetic,” said Ee about the minimalist, low-profile silhouette.

Another new seating option is the Solari sofa, which is a modular design that includes corner pieces and ottomans. Made with a textured three-tone bouclé fabric, the sofa offers chunky, channeled round lines with a ‘70s vibe created by tufting a premium feather blend. It features a low-to-the-ground plinth base.

“It looks carefree but took a lot of precision behind the scenes,” said Ee. “Lots of back and forth with our designers to nail the deliberate way in which the fabric bunches to feel effortlessly relaxed and inviting.”

Castlery also updated its existing Fable sofa, offering it in American nubuck aniline leather with a matte finish and sueded hand that is also water repellant.

Within its home accents selection, Castlery expanded its Seb collection to include round and rectangular marble coffee tables, a marble side table and two lift-top storage coffee tables. The marble tables feature Carrara marble tops, while the lift-tops provide hidden storage.

Concealed storage is also the story with the Auburn, Dalton and Rochelle collections of beds. Castlery has broadened its dining line with two new tables in its Posey collection and added new hand-knotted and loom-knotted rugs, lighting fixtures and outdoor furniture.
