President and CEO named to succeed Kevin Sauder


ARCHBOLD, Ohio — Sauder Woodworking Co., a North America producer of ready-to-assemble furniture, has appointed Nolan Pike as its president and CEO, effective Oct. 21. He succeeds Kevin Sauder.

Sauder plans to retired Nov. 1 after serving at the company for 36 years, as president and CEO since 2001.

Pike joins the company with more than 35 years of leadership experience, most recently as president and CEO of Eletrolux North America. He has also served as vice president and general manager of Kenmore brands at Sears and as general manager for Home Depot and Sears accounts at General Electric.

“We are confident that under Nolan’s leadership, our company will continue to serve our customers, employees and communities, and achieve new heights,” said Debbie Sauder David, chair of Sauder board of directors. “After 90 years of growth and success with Sauder family leadership, our company will continue to be in very capable hands.”

Kevin Sauder plans to attend the upcoming High Point Market with Pike, meeting with key customers, sales reps, industry partners and trade press.
