R&A Marketing, Pyxd partner to simplify online merchandising


SANTA CLARA, Calif. — R&A Marketing and Pyxd, developer of the AI product photography platform PyxMagic, have announced a new technology integration aimed at streamlining online merchandising for home furnishing retailers.

The partnership allows R&A Marketing clients to transfer product images generated through PyxMagic directly to their R&A-hosted websites. Images are automatically formatted and include SKU data, appearing as draft products in the website backend where retailers can finalize product information before publishing.

“Our retailers want to present their customers with an online showroom that mirrors the in-store experience but are often forced to use manufacturer images that may not speak to their customers,” said Kevin Doran, owner of R&A Marketing. “With this integration, R&A customers can use PyxMagic to capture products in-store, transform them into website-ready images and transfer those images to their R&A website to finalize their product builds with just the click of a button.”

The integration is now available to R&A Marketing clients at no additional cost, provided they have an active PyxMagic subscription.

According to the companies, the integration significantly reduces the time and effort needed to build and merchandise products online. PyxMagic allows users to capture product images on the retail floor using a mobile app, then processes the photos using AI to generate studio-quality images without the need for specialized equipment or post-processing.

Retailers that have adopted the integration early report notable efficiency gains. Brock Waldrop, head of sales and marketing at Miller Waldrop Furniture, said the partnership significantly sped up the product building process.

“The PyxMagic and R&A integration reduced product building by four or five steps, which can save you hours when you’re building 500+ products,” Waldrop said. “When you account for how much time is saved without having to download media libraries or import SKUs, the integration speeds up the entire building process.”
