HOUSTON – Sinomax USA has appointed a 25-year bedding industry sales executive to lead its business development team.
Vincent Passanisi has been named vice president of business development and contract/OEM for the manufacturer and distributor of mattresses and sleep products.
Passanisi joins Sinomax USA with more than 25 years of mattress experience in the wholesale, retail, private label and contract/OEM areas. Prior to joining the company, he was executive vice president of sales for Emma – The Sleep Co. Passanisi’s appointment follows last year’s hiring Eric Jent as chief commercial officer.
“Sinomax USA is very excited to have Vince joining our sales leadership team as we continue to grow our domestic, vertically integrated mattress programs across the country,” Jent said.
Throughout his career, Passanisi has worked with a number of brands, including Sealy, Ashley Furniture and Resident Home. In his new role, he is charged with growing Sinomax’s mattress business with furniture and sleep retailers, as well as expanding the company’s private label and OEM channels.
