WAUKESHA, Wis. — As Top 100 retailer Steinhafels continues its expansion around southern Chicago, it’s got a new partnership in place with the Southside’s Major League Baseball franchise.
The Waukesha, Wis.-based retailer and the Chicago White Sox recently inked a multi-year partnership, making Steinhafels a Proud Partner of the White Sox. This collaboration includes Steinhafels Commercial Interiors providing new, high-quality furniture for premium seating areas throughout Guaranteed Rate Field, elevating the fan experience.

“We’ve been in Chicago with a store coming up on 15 years and it does feel like we’ve solidified ourselves in the market,” Andrew Steinhafel, Steinhafels president, told Furniture Today. “I think all our efforts tie us into the local communities, and then the continued store expansion helps the consumer feel more comfortable that we’re a major player in the Chicago area.”
As part of this agreement, Steinhafels receives complete logo rights, exclusive retail promotions and special White Sox alumni appearances. Additionally, for every double play the White Sox team turns at home games, Steinhafels and the White Sox will donate to Special Spaces Illinois, a nonprofit dedicated to creating dream bedroom makeovers for children facing critical illnesses.
“We tied in our philanthropic efforts with Special Spaces that does room makeovers for kids with serious illnesses,” Steinhafel said. “It’s showcasing we’re a part of that community and want to give back.”
Steinhafels will further promote this partnership through advertising on every White Sox radio broadcast on ESPN 1000 and television broadcasts on Chicago Sports Network, reinforcing its commitment to the Chicagoland community. It will also outfit the green room for the Chicago Sports Network.
“We are excited to welcome Steinhafels as a valued partner of the White Sox,” said George McDoniel, White Sox senior director of corporate partnerships sales development. “We share a strong commitment to fans and customers throughout Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana to elevate the experience not only at the ballpark, but also at home, especially for families who need the support most.”
The 2025 season marks the White Sox’s 125th anniversary season in Chicago, plus it’s the 20th anniversary of the franchise’s last World Series championship, and Steinhafel said he’s hopeful that players from that 2005 team might be available for store appearances in Orland Park and Merrillville, Ind.
The partnership ties in with Steinhafels’ continued growth in Chicago with its newest stores in Schaumburg and Orland Park, and the upcoming Steinhafels Superstore opening this summer in Merrillville.
