What is Bobo Intriguing Objects bringing to Atlanta Market? Check this out

ATLANTA — When Atlanta Market opens later this month, the Hooker Furnishings showroom will feature a new addition to the product line-up.

Following a successful launch last fall at High Point Market, Bobo Intriguing Objects will show its curated collection of lighting and décor in Atlanta for the first time as part of the Hooker Furnishings portfolio. Merchandised throughout the space among several of the company’s additional brands, Bobo Intriguing Objects products include lighting, accent furniture and small decorative pieces including tabletop accessories, planters and candles, art, mirrors and textiles.

“Featuring a curated selection of products from our many consumer-facing brands, our Atlanta showroom offers our customers a boutique shopping experience, now layered with lighting and décor items from our Bobo Intriguing Objects brand,” said Johne Albanese, chief marketing officer. “Following the grand opening of our showroom in Atlanta last summer, we’re looking forward to our first winter market in our new space.

“In addition to Bobo Intriguing Objects, buyers can expect to see some of our newest case goods, modern leather seating, and custom, domestic fabric upholstery from our Hooker Case Goods, Hooker Upholstery, HF Custom, Bradington-Young, M.Drew & Jonathan Scott Home, Pulaski Furniture, and SLF brands.”

Curated by Bobo founder Mark Sage, the one-of-a-kind designs that will be featured at Atlanta Market include:

Metal Beaded Chandelier – The Metal Beaded Chandelier makes a statement in any room with its beaded black iron ornaments that are set with a collection of vintage ball lights. Available in two sizes – small and large – it includes a durable black hanging chain and canopy. Because of its ornate look, the Metal Beaded Chandelier skillfully melds the baroque, contemporary and industrial styles together.

Wooden Polyhedron Chandelier – The Wooden Polyhedron Chandelier is an exclusive Art Deco piece with an unexpected lightweight design. The polyhedron frame is crafted of oak with a natural finish and includes an iron chain and canopy. It comes in three sizes: small, medium and large.

Antique Rice Wine Jars – Previously used to store rice wine in Asia, these antique reproduction jars are part of a one-of-a-kind collection. Replicating their original vintage color tones of varying whites and greys, the jars make appealing decorative items and can be used as vases.

Lizmark Wrestler Head Coin Bank – A reproduction of an antique Mexican Wrester’s mask once used by Luchadores, the mask has been reimagined into a handpainted children’s bank for coins with a slot in the top. These fun banks are available in eight different patterns.

Swiss Army Pouf – As a part of the vintage Swiss Army fabric collection, inspired by original Swiss Army military blankets, the Swiss Army Pouf provides a multifunctional retro design. Crafted with wool fiber, details include a refined zigzag hem and a signature stripe with emblem. The pouf is available in three sizes as well as four antique color combinations including black and cream, red and brown, brown and green, and orange and gray.

In addition to the showroom introductions, Hooker Furnishings will host a daily happy hour beginning at 3 p.m. from Tuesday, Jan. 16, through Friday, Jan. 19. With a nod to a trending color palette, “Feeling Peachy? The Daily Fuzz” offers customers the opportunity to network in a “designer-inspired happy hour,” officials said.

Hooker Furnishings’ Atlanta showroom is located in AmericasMart Building 1, Floor 1, showroom 1L1/1L2.
