The Arkansas Homefurnishings Association (ARHFA) recently held its 96th Annual Fun Fest Dinner and Golf Tournament, welcoming the largest number of members and guests in more than a decade. The event, held at Maumelle Country Club, also marked 50 consecutive years at the venue, bringing together industry professionals for a day of golf, recognition, and community engagement.
The event included an awards dinner honoring outstanding retail associates, interactive games, and prize giveaways supported by the Arkansas Road Runners. Funds raised during the event benefited the ARHFA Scholarship Fund, which provides annual scholarships to association members, their employees, and families.
Guests experienced a day of networking and celebration, with food prepared by Randy Lann, official grill master for the Dallas Cowboys and former ARHFA Executive Director. Arkansas Lieutenant Governor Leslie Rutledge also made a visit during the event.
“We are beyond excited with this year’s turnout and look to expand on those numbers for next year’s tournament,” said Perry Jackson, President of ARHFA.
Kevin D. Steele, Executive Director of ARHFA, added: “The foundation of the ARHFA originated with leaders from the Arkansas furniture industry who gathered to play golf and exchange ideas. We are proud to acknowledge our beginnings while also offering networking opportunities for our members to share innovative concepts to improve the industry.”
