Ashley donated mattresses to first responders who battled LA wildfires back in January.
COLTON, Calif. – Ashley Furniture has donated 250 mattresses to first responders who lost their homes from the wildfires that swept through Los Angeles earlier this year.
“The courage and dedication of our first responders, who continued to protect our communities while facing personal losses, is truly heroic,” said Todd Wanek, Ashley CEO. “We are incredibly grateful for their selfless service. The devastating impact of these wildfires has affected us all deeply, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting these brave individuals and helping rebuild the communities we serve.”
Ashley says several of its stores in the Los Angeles area hosted supply drives to collect essential items for those impacted and have been committed to supporting recovery efforts by providing special offers. It says it will “continue to provide these resources to help reduce the financial burden during this challenging time.”
“This commitment to California communities is an ongoing endeavor for Ashley, as demonstrated by a donation of 200 beds to children in need across the region through their Hope to Dream program, in partnership with El Nido Family Centers,” the company said. “From natural disaster relief to ensuring children have a proper place to sleep, to support and strengthen the communities Ashley calls home.”
