WOBURN, Mass. – The Chattam & Wells’ Fleur De Lis collection is undergoing a redesign for the winter Las Vegas Market.
The new looks is part of Spring Air International’s desire to broaden the audience for luxury mattresses with elegant looks at attainable price points.
The new three-model Fleur De Lis collection is covered in quilted white damask accented with gold embroidery. Each of the models – Genevieve, Eleanor and Marie – incorporates a blend of wool and silk, encased coils and six layers of foam for comfort and durability.
“With a predominance of darker color palettes on mattress store floors, white covers now signal something special to consumers, and we’ve combined the quilted white damask covers and borders with off-white rosette tufts, white satin accents, handles embroidered with gold fleur de lis emblems and gold metal labels for a striking presentation,” said Nick Bates, president and chief executive officer. “The goal is to provide consumers with a new entry-point for luxury goods, with high-end looks and feels at price points that enable our dealers to enjoy significant margins.”
The collection is designed to retail from $1,999 for Genevieve in firm queen, mattress only to $2,399 for the Eleanor in medium feel and Marie in a plush design bot in queen, mattress only.
The mattresses feature a combination of HyperGel and firm quilt foam, with either Serene or Gel Memory foam beneath a wool and silk fiber blend. All feature 8-inch, tri-zone encased coil units for support.
Spring Air will showcase the new collection in its Las Vegas Market showroom, space A-701.
