Cozey accommodates modular seating and sleeping with its latest intro

MONTREAL — Direct-to-consumer brand Cozey has put a new spin on a classic — the sofa bed — with the introduction of the Neptune sofa.

“The Neptune was designed to seamlessly blend into your life,” said Evan Clabots, vice president-product development and innovation. “Most sofa beds are big and clunky; we wanted to revolutionize the sofa bed experience. With Neptune, we’ve blended comfort with innovation, function with style, to create another modular furniture option.”

Sleeper units and non-sleeper units, including storage seat, corner seat and sleeper seat modules, and a storage ottoman, are available. The modules provide various sizes and configurations so users can customize the Neptune to fit their needs from a club chair or sofa to an L-shaped or U-shaped sectional. When paired with the ottoman, the club chair can expand into a single bed.

The Neptune is designed to smoothly transition from a sofa to a bed. Each sleeper unit has a mechanical lift system that allows seat cushions to pull out to create the bed and be pulled back to transition into the sofa again. Bedding storage is accommodated under the seat cushions.

It is available in four cover colors: slate, fog, leaf and latte. Prices range from $700 for a single module to $5,500 for large sectional options.

Cozey offers its products in the United States and Canada through its website and also at its brick-and-mortar store in Toronto.
