CHICAGO — Crate & Barrel, Crate & Kids and Leanne Ford have teamed back up with a new collaboration called the “Origins Collection.” It includes over 120 items like sofas, dinnerware, and cribs, and features designs inspired by Leanne Ford’s previous work with the brands.
The Origins Collection includes updated designs such as the Gig Sofa, a leather Chesterfield sofa. It also introduces new designs in the Rica and Fields collections, featuring caning and coastal themes for bedrooms.
The Leanne Ford for Crate & Kids line offers items like a heart-shaped baby activity mat and the Lennox Crib and Armoire Cabinet, featuring details from a mirror that Ford designed for Crate & Barrel in fall of 2021.
“Curating this capsule felt special because I went back to my classic American design roots to present bright and airy pieces,” Ford said about the new releases. “This lasting collection pays homage to the work we’ve done together over the years, while incorporating unique and laid-back details.”
Sebastian Brauer, senior vice president of product design, Crate & Barrel, said that the collection “continues our evolution by combining design styles and different eras with a warm neutral color palette, unique artisanal touches, innovative materials and a cohesive edit and narrative.”
Items in the 129-piece collection are available both online and in Crate & Barrel brick-and-mortar locations.
