Egoitaliano goes ‘Eco’ with new line headed to spring market


HIGH POINT — Italian furniture manufacturer Egoitaliano is keeping sustainability at the center as it rolls out its latest collection at the upcoming High Point Market, with a showroom featuring sofas, armchairs and home accessories.

The company says that its showcased collection aims to cater to diverse preferences in terms of color, fabrics, dimensions and shapes. Its pieces include customizable features like seat recognition sensors and mechanized backrests.

Egoitaliano notes that the new collection places a strong emphasis on sustainability and the circular economy. For example, flagship product the Coconut is a swivel armchair and pouf system made from recycled cellulose, showcasing the brand’s use of innovative materials and commitment to environmental sustainability. The company will also introduce a range of other stationary and motion pieces at market.

Founded in 2007 in Matera, Italy, Egoitaliano specializes in the design, production and sale of sofas, armchairs and home accessories. It has a presence in more than 100 stores in Italy and more than 40 countries worldwide.

The company’s showroom at market will be located at 220 Elm, space 318.
