Martin Furniture names executive to newly created logistics role

SAN DIEGO – Martin Furniture has named Andy Bell as its new vice president of supply chain and logistics, a newly created position for the company.

Bell most recently comes from Andy Bell Sales, where he served as CEO. He has more than two decades of experience in the furniture industry.

“Andy’s appointment marks a significant milestone for Martin Furniture,” said Gil Martin, company founder and CEO. “His unparalleled expertise make him the ideal leader to drive our supply chain and logistics operations forward.”

As his primary focus, Bell will lead logistics initiatives across Martin’s global operations. He will provide leadership for the newly launched Vietnam mixed container warehouse, as well as the existing facility in San Diego, with a focus on ongoing cost and productivity improvements.

Bell’s background is shaped by his father, Philip Bell, who ran his own furniture business. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with degrees in management, marketing, and international business.
