More than 800 exhibitors expected at joint home fairs in Valencia this week


VALENCIA, Spain – Spain’s biggest trade fair for the décor, interior design and contract sectors is expecting a big turnout.

Feria Hábitat València (furniture and lighting) and Home Textiles Premium are taking place Sept. 19-22 at Feria Valencia. The event will feature more than 881 exhibitors and cover more than 103,000 square feet. The expected 48,000 visitors will come from 70 countries.

Hábitat València is poised to be the biggest edition of the last decade. Sectors will include contemporary furniture, upholstered furniture, avant-garde furniture, classic furniture, Decor, lighting, outdoor décor, gifts, accessories and equipment.

Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar will feature bedding and bath textiles, bedding, bath textiles, curtains, upholstery, kitchen and table linens, rugs and carpets, soft accessories and trimmings. The home textiles show has signed up buyers from 43 countries, including the U.S.

Event programming will include sessions on home textiles trends, interior trends, sustainability, new materials for interior spaces, the competitiveness and promotion of design and the role of women in design. In addition, there will be a display featuring the work of nine young designers and nine schools of design and university design faculties.
