Out with old, in with new: Casper replaces entire bed line

NEW YORK – Listening to feedback from consumers, Casper has unveiled a new five-model mattress lineup that incorporates temperature control, ergonomic support, a range of comfort feels and a range of price points.

The company’s new beds are replacing older models in the brand’s lineup. The new beds – Casper One, Casper Dream, Casper Dream Max, Casper Snow and Casper Snow Max – make up the company’s new offering priced on the Casper website at $995 for Casper One, up to $2,995 for the Snow Max. Each of the queen mattresses is shown online with a 20% discount.

Casper, which will mark its 10th anniversary in April, has dropped the eponymous Casper, the Original, the Original Hybrid and the Wave Hybrid models in exchange for the new collection.

Online, Casper is touting the mattress launch as “All new. All Cozy,” with a tagline saying, “The best beds just got better.”

“At Casper, we’re always looking for ways to improve our products to give our customers their best sleep possible,” said a spokesperson. “This is not a relaunch of any models in our current mattress portfolio. It is the launch of a brand-new line that, like all Casper products, incorporates our customers’ feedback.”

The product launch follows the company’s announcement in January that former Purple CEO Joe Megibow was joining the company as CEO.

The new lineup, designed in Casper Labs to span all price points and a range of consumer preferences with consumer feedback, includes a range of builds including foam and hybrid and offer a number of features like cooling and enhanced support levels.

The Dream Max mattress steps up to a 14-inch profile with Breath+ Flex Foam, zoned support, pocketed flex coils to reduce motion transfer and supportive layers.

Rounding out the new product line at the upper end, are the Snow and Snow Max are 12-inch and 14-inch profile hybrid mattresses designed for a cooler sleep experience. Both feature the company’s Snow Technology, cooling fibers and flex coils. The Snow Max adds Casper’s HeatDelete cooling bands for additional temperature control.
