Precision Textiles creates new fiberglass-free FR solution for promotional beds


FAIRFIELD, N.J. Looking to deliver an all-in-one sustainable FR solution for promotionally priced mattresses, Precision Textiles has introduced its new IQFIT Comfort.

Part of the growing IQFIT line of fiberglass-free products, the new Comfort is deigned for use by mattress manufacturers and cut-and-sew suppliers and can be used in both residential and hospitality markets. The fabric is sustainably sourced with FR capabilities like Precision Textiles’ other IQFIT product collection.

“Introducing IQFIT Comfort marks yet another milestone in our commitment to the bedding industry and represents our dedication to continually pushing the boundaries of comfort and functionality,” said Scott Tesser, chief executive officer of Precision Textiles. “Not only does this product deliver exceptional comfort but it also offers versatile applications, catering to the needs of both residential and hospitality markets.”

By utilizing a comfort focused knit construction combined with the latest FR chemistry to meet Prop 65 requirements, IQFIT Comfort improves comfort and flexibility and works with promotionally priced, compression-packed mattress designs.

Patent-pending IQFIT Comfort allows for a single solution CFR 1633 compliant application and outer cover making it a more efficient approach to mattress constructions. The product aligns with the company’s current USDA Bio-Preferred product offering and is in line with the company’s new Preserving the Planet initiative.
