DORAL, Fla. — Rana Furniture has acquired the lease to a 26,000-square-foot location at Pembroke Lakes Mall in Doral, Fla.
Located at 11251 Pines Blvd. in a former Joann Fabric & Craft store, the location replaces the Doral, Fla.-based retailer’s 11,500-square-foot store at 7979 Pines Blvd. and moves to an active retail spot.
“Our Pembroke Lakes Mall lease positions us at the heart of one of South Florida’s most dynamic retail corridors,” said Douglas Esser, president of Rana Furniture. “With 75,000 daily vehicle passes and proximity to anchor tenants like Target, this location allows us to serve customers through a modernized, one-stop shopping experience.”

The recent expansion of the Pembroke Pines retail location tripled Rana’s operational space in the market, marking a significant scaling of its physical footprint compared to the previous store. This growth will follow the closure of the original Pembroke Pines location, which ceased operations immediately to facilitate the transition.
The expanded store features new product lines, including home appliances, flooring solutions and decorative wall panels, diversifying its consumer offerings. Additionally, the expansion created more than 20 new positions, augmenting the existing workforce to support enhanced operational capabilities and customer service demands.
Additionally, Rana’s conversion of a 32,000-square-foot former Big Lots location on SW 40th Street in Miami is nearing construction completion and should open late in the third quarter of this year. It replaces the company’s Cutler Bay store, which is closed. This location will also feature the expanded appliance section with design-focused displays.
