Severe storm in Houston temporarily halts operations at Classy Art

HOUSTON – A severe storm with hurricane-force winds that hit the Houston area yesterday caused damage to Classy Art’s warehouse facility resulting in a lack of power.

“The safety and well-being of our employees are our top priorities,” said Classy Art CEO Gabriel Cohen.  “We are relieved to report that all our staff members are safe and accounted for, and the facility has not suffered relevant damage.”

Cohen said, because of the storm, there will be a delay in processing and shipping orders today due to the power outage and the damage sustained, resulting in the company being unable to process new orders or ship existing ones.

“We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely apologize for any disruption this may bring to your plans,” Cohen added. “Our team is working from home to answer all questions or concerns.”

The company hopes to have the power restored by Monday, May 20, and aims to resume normal operations at that point.
