HIGH POINT – At this week’s High Point Market, whole home resource Surya is debuting the company’s first outdoor furniture collection.
“Surya’s outdoor furniture collection is more than just a category expansion; it’s a natural evolution of our commitment to the way people live today,” said Satya Tiwari, president of Surya. “We’ve combined great design with materials and construction that stand up to the demands of everyday living. This collection extends our customers’ design capabilities to the outdoors, with the same care, craftsmanship and curation they have come to trust from the Surya brand.”
Developed by a team with decades of experience in outdoor furniture design, engineering and production, the debut collection features more than 60 pieces spanning lounge seating, sectionals, dining groups, fire tables and more. The launch also includes a 33-piece capsule collection designed in collaboration with designer Ashley Childers.
Tiwari said each refined piece in the launch assortment is a testament to Surya’s signature craftsmanship, exceptional quality and attention to detail — from a five-step aluminum finishing process and two full days of hand-weaving on the Porta collection to the precisely bent, French-inspired curves of the Antibes collection.
According to the company, sustainability is a driving force behind Surya’s new outdoor furniture. Materials include responsibly sourced Brazilian teak and recyclable aluminum, while eco-friendly production processes are used for their minimal environmental impact.
