NAPLES, Fla. — Walter E. Smithe has promoted David Rouley to distribution manager at its newly opened facility in Fort Myers, Fla.
Previously, Rouley was a dock manager at the retailer’s Chicago DC. He will report to Dave Egan, distribution manager at the Chicago facility.
“David is a hard-working perfectionist who has earned our admiration and confidence over the years,” said Mark Smithe, general counsel for the retailer. “We are thrilled that he will provide our new Naples clients the same high levels of client service and efficiency that our Chicago-area clients have enjoyed for decades.”
The distribution center will be for the Itasca, Ill.-based Top 100 retailer’s first Florida showroom, which is set to open later this year in Naples.
