Universal promotes marketing specialist to director


HIGH POINT – Universal Furniture has promoted Kayla Miller to the position of director of marketing.

In her new role, she will spearhead daily marketing efforts and support strategic initiatives aligned with product and sales objectives. She reports to Neil MacKenzie, senior vice president of marketing.

“Kayla’s journey with Universal has been marked by creativity, dedication and a proven ability to elevate our marketing efforts,” said MacKenzie. “We are thrilled to see her take on the role of director of marketing, where her leadership will undoubtedly drive our brand to new heights,”

Miller joined Universal in 2019 as a creative marketing specialist. Two years later, she was promoted to senior creative marketing specialist. The company noted that she had a big impact on the company’s photography, where she not only enhanced image quality but also streamlined processes, resulting in significant cost savings for the company.

Prior to joining Universal, Miller was an interior designer and a social media influencer concentrating in the realm of home interiors. She holds a bachelor’s degree from UNC Charlotte.
