Updated style, design at heart of Gold Bond’s new Camelot mattress

HARTFORD, Conn. – Family-owned mattress manufacturer Gold Bond has developed a mattress featuring new cooling technology and an upscale design.

The two-sided Camelot mattress is designed with Leggett & Platt’s 1057 Bolsa spring system, a component used in all of Gold Bond’s premium mattresses. In addition, Camelot features Carpenter Co.’s Aurora foam.

Dressed in a heathered gray cover with white accents, Camelot features a stitched dark gray border.

“We have gotten great feedback from our retailers,” said Bob Naboicheck, CEO. “At first glance, consumers are drawn to the unique look of the mattress. But then they lie on it and experience the Aurora foam which is cool and comfortable thanks to the exceptional airflow. Together both elements help sell the mattress.”

Priced to retail at $1,599 in queen and available in three comfort feels, Camelot is sandwiched between the company’s Buckingham and Venice mattresses.

“This is by far one of the most comfortable mattresses we have ever introduced,” Naboicheck said. “Gold Bond has long been known for very durable mattresses. With that being said, many of our products have a slighter firmer feel, while the Camelot products are just the opposite. They are extremely luxurious and soft. Combining one of the industry’s best innersprings, Aurora foam and a gorgeous fabric, Camelot is selling on every Gold Bond retailer floor.”
