HIGH POINT — Belgian furniture manufacturer Vincent Sheppard will mark its 30th anniversary at the upcoming High Point Market with new takes on classic forms, emphasizing its expertise in handwoven techniques and quality materials suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Frida lounge chair

Founded in 1995, Vincent Sheppard is known for its use of Lloyd Loom, a method that twists Kraft paper around metal wire to create woven furniture. Headquartered in Belgium, its main production facility is in Indonesia, where weaving traditions are deeply rooted.

The company’s newest offerings for High Point include the Frida lounge chair, inspired by a 1950s design from Danish designer Illum Wikkelsø. Updated for contemporary comfort, the chair features handwoven dark green polypropylene rope reinforced with a PVC core, wrapped around a solid teak frame. Each chair takes about a full day to produce and retails in the U.S. for $2,125.

Also on display will be the Titus dining chair, which blends a solid oak frame with a woven rattan back. The design references mid-century styling while allowing light and air to pass through its cane weave. The chair starts at $660, depending on the finish.

Lilo coffee table

Rounding out the lineup is the Lilo table collection, a lightweight and durable set of three-legged aluminum side and coffee tables suited for both indoor and outdoor use. Available in seven colors and multiple sizes, the tables are priced between $395 and $625.

Vincent Sheppard’s indoor and outdoor collections prioritize craftsmanship, durability, and materials such as teak, aluminum, rattan and woven rope. Its approach to design combines traditional weaving with modern forms, often drawing from mid-century influences.

The company will exhibit at the International Home Furnishings Center, space IH-509.
