Colorful Holiday Decor – Sincerely, Sara D.

I love decorating with color, so it is probably no surprise that I also love colorful holiday decor.

In our breakfast nook, I added a tree and decorated it with nutcrackers tied to the tree with ribbon. I found the nutcrackers at Dollar General.

I visited over five stores to find enough nutcrackers to fill the tree, but the result was worth it!

I hung paper stars over the record player. I highly recommend setting out a record player for the holidays! Not only does it look fun, but someone is constantly turning on the festive music.

I added fairy lights to the garland and wreath. The extra lights are gorgeous in the evening.

The colorful ornaments pop against the deep wall color, and I added velvet ribbon bows to the tree this year.

I also added garland and brass bells to the floor mirror in our living room.

I love the colorful but sophisticated space.

The decor in our dining room is a bit more organic. The wreaths are covered in dried fruit and leaves while the tree is decorate with dried lime light hydrangeas from our backyard.

The wreaths are hung using thick green velvet ribbon.

I won’t try to save the hydrangeas for next year’s tree because I’ll have new flowers to cut next year.
