Kuka Home promotes three team members to new positions

HIGH POINT — Kuka Home, manufacturer and upholstery resource, has promoted three company team members to new roles.

Sergio Barrios has been promoted to executive vice president of merchandising and product development for Kuka Home North America. A member of the product team, Barrios joined Kuka in 2019 and subsequently merged the motion and stationary divisions into a single, cohesive, merchandised line.

“His consistent track record of keeping us one, two, and sometimes three steps ahead of our competitors has undeniably contributed to our success in growing Kuka Home into one of the world’s leading upholstery manufacturers,” said Matt Harrison, president of Kuka Home North America. Barrios’ role as executive vice president will allow him to continue to develop innovative designs for the company.

Christina O’Brien Morrison has been promoted to senior marketing manager. Morrison joined Kuka in 2020 and has “driven remarkable growth and recognition for the company through strategic branding initiatives, heightened media attention, and active industry involvement,” officials said.

“Christina has been an invaluable asset to our organization through her creativity in marketing throughout our showrooms and out in the marketplace,” Harrison said. “Her creative eye and attention to detail have vastly improved Kuka’s presence in the furniture industry, positioning us as a top-tier manufacturer and upholstery resource.”

Bellena Criddle, who joined Kuka in 2021, “has earned her promotion to operations manager for the national retail team,” officials said. Criddle oversees and manages day-to-day operational activities.

“Bellena’s commitment to customer and consumer satisfaction is unparalleled,” said Tony Cantrell, president of the National Retail Division. “She is a tremendous asset to our company, and her promotion is well-earned.”

Kuka Home was founded in 1982 and has world headquarters in Hangzhou, China, and U.S. headquarters and a showroom in High Point.
