New web-based feature, powered by Intiaro, allows customers to visualize Lexington upholstery with their own materials.
HIGH POINT — Lexington Home Brands has introduced a new digital visualization feature, developed in partnership with 3D and augmented reality provider Intiaro, that allows customers to customize upholstery pieces with their own fabric selections.
The web-based tool enables designers and consumers to upload images of fabrics, visualize them draped over Lexington products and view the designs in photorealistic detail. The tools aims to simplify the Customer’s Own Material process and expand personalization options, and it requires no specialized software or technical expertise.
“COM represents a significant and growing component of our upholstery business,” said Michael Yarbrough, vice president of digital marketing for Lexington Home Brands. “This innovative technology will make custom upholstery more accessible to interior designers and consumers. It will drive growth by simplifying what has traditionally been a complex process, limiting mistakes and lowering the barrier of entry for customization.”
The tool uses AI pattern recognition to create seamless visualizations and offers manual fabric adjustment options. Customers can also use augmented reality to preview the customized furniture in their own spaces without downloading an app.
