HIGH POINT — Although Gabby White‘s casual brand Summer Classics won’t introduce its 2025 collections until July, there’s some “new” under the sun this spring in High Point.

Just outside its showroom, buyers are met with an assortment of new firepits and a examples from the company’s new custom umbrella program.

“These introductions for High Point are all about giving designers options and complementing the existing line,” Channel Marketing Manager Margaret Murray told Furniture Today. “We have new firepits, a custom umbrella program and new furniture covers available.”

Buyers have a choice of two fabrics per umbrella, five different canopy patterns, two trims and four bases to mix and match.

“Because the High Point crowd skews toward design, we wanted to highlight that buyers here can customize these all their way,” Murray said.

Alongside the umbrellas are three new propane firepits: the larger Sorrento, the Palmero and the smaller Naples, which includes a lid that allows it to double as a tabletop.

“Firepits are huge right now, and we see an opportunity there, since our products are often placed alongside them in the home, to let them be part of a cohesive design story,” Murray said.

All of the firepits are propane-burning and domestically made, with the Palmero and Sorrento featuring a hidden drawer compartment to conceal the tank.

Asked about how buyers are reacting to uncertainty around tariffs and the supply chain, Murray said the company has made a small price adjustment that has not appeared to dampen strong traffic and interest from both the residential and contract sides of the business at High Point.

“For the whole month of April, really since , there has been a lot of conversation at our corporate office about how we are going to mitigate the impacts (of the tariffs),” Murray said. “We made the decision to implement a 5% across-the-board surcharge across our range, and we think that still keeps us competitive. We have seen a big, busy uptick in traffic this (Saturday) morning. I think we are in a strong position with heading into July market.”

The /Summer Classics High Point showroom is located at 333 N. Hamilton St.
