HIGH POINT – Another mattress supplier is opening a new showroom here for the upcoming spring High Point Market, adding to the market’s bedding footprint.
Americanstar Group is returning to the market after an eight-year hiatus with a showroom located in the Atrium on Main. The company manufactures in an 80,000-square-foot factory in Houston, from which it will ship product throughout the U.S.
“We are eager to reconnect at High Point Market, offering retailers the chance to captivate customers with our advanced technology and competitive pricing,” said Dave Novak, vice president of sales at Americanstar U.S. “Following the positive feedback on our extensive selection of high-margin products, we’ve broadened our reach to serve retailers nationwide with our efficient logistics, profitable margins and appealing offerings.”
The company will be showcasing its full mattress lineup featuring hybrid, latex, memory foam and pocket coil designs, along with its new Dream Flow Latex Hybrid mattress.
Last week, Diamond Mattress said it had secured a showroom in the same showroom building. The mattress category has mostly chosen the Las Vegas Market over High Point to show its latest products.
In addition to its facility in Houston, the company plans to open a 200,000-square-foot factory in Waco, Texas, to expand its U.S. production to a total of 1,200 mattresses a day.

The showroom, located at space T-100 in the Atrium on Main at 430 S. Main St.
